Mike Alstott Was A Beast!

Mike Alstott played 12 years in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers racking up over 5,088 yards and an impressive 58 rushing touchdowns. At a stout 6 foot 1 and 248 pounds, Alstott was a load to bring down as his unconventional blend of size and athletic ability caused defenders great pain. The highlight of Alsott’s career came in 2002 as he participated and won Super Bowl XXXVI played in San Diego, California.

Alstott became the first Purdue player in history to boast an MVP award in 3 consecutive seasons. In the end he finished as Purude’s all-time leading rusher with 3,635 yards. In 1995 he set the single season high with 1,425 yards.
